my pre publication copy of again to carthiage is still up for grabs (to the highest bidder). e-mail me, I hear the publication copy has changed...again.
The one about bowling is f***ing hilarious! Chapter 5 I believe. That's quote about track being black and white is very real. Numbers never lie.

Is this book ever coming out?
It's for sale on amazon.com.
Wow! Thanks for remembering my question!
If anyone could send me through a copy of the once a runner essay I'd appreciate it. Just finished reading the book and would like to see another perspective!
Sorry, e-mail enabled!
does anyone know why this book is now selling for $200+ dollars? did they stop printing?
What better place to bring it up then on a thread that has gotten like 6 responses within with last 2 years!

bump...
Look, I'd like to know the answer too. I've only become aware of Quenton Cassidy and the cult status of the book in the last few months. I was completely oblivious. It just doesn't make sense that novel with this kind of perennial demand is out of print. Is the author just wacky, or doesn't like the contracts he's offered? Are the rights tied up in some dispute?
Folks--what's the story with Once a Runner? I want a 9.95 paperback version, new.
;I believe the author is old and dying, unless I heard wrong. If thats true, when he dies it will be free game for publishers....not that I want him to die, he's obviously an incredible man......but get you copy of the sequal "again to carthage" while it is still cheap!!!

As my grandpa used to say: "People in hell want ice water".
But seriously, with ATC coming out, it doesn't seem like rocket science to me that there will be a surge in the interest in OAR. And Parker's not making any money on those e-Bay transactions.
I would hope there would be plans for OAR to be re-printed (although probably not at 9.95)
I just found out it's (OAR) free. There's a bitmapped PDF you can download.
