Orville? :)
Orville gets my vote. He just turned 70. But that's counting regular posters. Ed Whitlock has posted here and he's what, 73(?) now? But he isn't a regular.
My only (Warhol 15 minutes or perhaps 15 seconds)claim is that as a rare poster I become 76 this year but surely there must be others beyond that?
13.8 billion years old
Everybody wins at 69
Well since Jason Rexing created the solar system, in a pair of trainers, I would say Rexing is the oldest.
jtupper has to be closing in on 70.
Doyle Brunson is older than 70.
I call. No way that a 70 year old knows how to work a computer, this ain't a typewriter.
I've seen Jesus post a few times. I think he's pretty old.
Ed Whitlock has frequently posted here, and he is 75.
Wow Methuselah...like 969 years old right?
Correct. Ed is 75 and I am 70. We hope to have our annual meeting at the Cambridge Classic Mile on June 10th.
What I would like to know is what those over 70 on this board are doing as runners, racers, joggers, jog/walkers or walkers.

I can "type" a message on a computer, I don't think I could manage that on a typewriter, too many mistakes and too difficult to correct. Us old folks can recognise our mistakes its just hard to rectify them, we need to computerize our running.
Mr. Whitlock: Is the daily routine still 2 hours or are you back to 3 hours per day? I understand you were focusing, or planning to focus, on shorter distances this year.
Thank you.

At the moment I am just trying to recover from an achilles problem that came up about 6 weeks ago. I am hoping to build up the length of my work outs again but at the moment I am at about 20 minutes. Hoping to get in some decent track times this summer, although training has been compromised, also hoping to do a marathon this fall. All depends on how I progress.
What's Ed Whitlock's mile time??
Ed can still run the mile in around 5:20-5:30, pretty amazing for a 75 year old.

Off the type of training I do, the 5:20 to 5:30 is more like my time for 1500m. If I concentrated on the 1500 I might be able to get that 1500 time down a bit, but not to that time for a mile.
