Man I hate idiots.
Also, I'm pretty sure the odds of all those records being set with the clock at ".00" hundredths of a second are PRETTTTTTTTTTTTY miniscule.
3k and 5k may well be faster. I see sub 7:20 and 12:30.
Just a hunch. ...and who in the h e l l took Nostradamus as a registered name??

I'll say the chances of that are one in a hundred.

Very nice!
Actually the probability that ALL of those records would end in .00 is .000000000001

The chance of the 6 records he mentioned as ending in .00 all actually ending in .00 is actually 1 in 600 000 000 000.
Very nice!

Very interesting. There was a book that came out about 10 years ago called "World Record Breakers in Track and Field Athletics" that predicted the world records in 2015. Here's what they came up with
100 - 9.79
200 - 19.32
400 - 43.20
800 - 1:40.20
1500 - 3:25.0
Mile - 3:42.0
5000 - 12:25.0
10,000 - 26:10
Marathon - 2.05:55
Obviously their assumption was that the 200m record, which was set earlier in the year, would not be broken by 2015. The 100m, 400m and marathon have already surpassed their predictions, with the marathon being a significant improvement, but at that time the record was still 2.06:50.
2015 Predictions
100-9.71
200-19.29
400-42.99
800-1:39.96
1500-3:24.30
Mile-3:41.65
5000-12:31.05
10000-25:58
Marathon-2:03.35
considering that book was written quite some time ago, igive big kudos to the author.
Distance running hasn't progressed quite as much as we thought (aside from the marathon)
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
