Yuda is not running for Yuda, he is running for Kenya. His job is not to win but to make sure Meb doesn't.

Yuda wasn't in the top 5 at the half marathon split? did he drop out or was he a rabbit?

what was rexing's time? i assume he finished a while ago and has begun his swim across the atlantic (or does he walk, er.. run, on water like jesus) so he can be ready for london next week.
I think Rexing will start the race after the others reach the 20 mile mark.
Rexing narrowly edged out the first w/c guy. Not bad considering that the w/c guy had a 35 minute head start.
I mean this course has 6-time the net downhill that is allowed for a wr course but 2:05low is still insane fast.
Stating the even more obvious: Yuda is from Tanzania, not Kenya.
Idiot.
Half updates:
Sell 65:17

Smile....
There is a break now, Maiyo surging hard again uphill, Meb and Nguse giving chase with Meb doing the work...Really cool race to watch, Maiyo keep looking back once in awhile--I think he'll pay for this on the downside of the Heartbrk hill...Meb looks composed, slowly drawing him back...
"Brian Sell was 1:05:17, exactly what he wanted to run. If he has anything left, he could pass a few big names in the second half."
I'd say that's right.
Does that mean he can't cash a check in Kenyan Shillings?

Yuda is from Tanzania.

Looks like Sell's race is going according to plan. Look for him to pass a lot of guys in the last 5 miles, could maybe end up 5th or so.

so does this mean he was rabbiting maiyo and now dropped out?

2:05 low won't happen. And you're crazy if you think Boston is faster than, say, Chicago or London just because it has a big net downhill. There's a reason that the course record is 2:07:15 on a day with an insane tailwind.
Maiyo has opened up yet another slight gap (his 44th of the day, seemingly). Meb and Merga chasing.
I think people are confusing Maiyo (Kenya) with Yuda (Tanzania). Yuda led early but is gone. Maiyo has been doing the surging lately.
