30:07 for Culpepper at 10k (2:07 pace)
30:07 for Culpepper at 10k (2:07 pace)
I missed the interview, but D&C were talking about it afterwards.
Also, I'll never put another apostrophe in my name, since the software keeps inserting slashes into it.
30:06 for the lead men at 10k
14:56 for the last 5k (if I can do math - 30:06-15:22, whatever that is)

Men 6 Miles:
The split time was 29:04, a 2:07 pace. Alan has gone to the back of the pack, but Meb is still up near the front. Alan looks fine, though. John Korir is still with the leaders; he's running his first marathon. No sign of the trail pack, which would possibly include Sell and Verran. We can see back at least 30-40 seconds, so they have backed off the early pace considerably.
Gilmore and Sell are sharing the pace.
3 men in green leading meb in 4th drifting...
If anyone bitches about Alan not going for it today, I will personally come to your house & choke you!
I'm worried about Culpepper, he doesn't look labored, but he's not in a good position either.
Yeah, it's great that both Meb and Alan are going for it.
Gilmore is running 2:10 pace?Isn't that too fast for him?
447 last mile...42 min into race
The seven mile split is 33:50 (4:40).
Approaching eight miles, Negussie the defending champion, is falling from the pace.
Meb has several in the 2:09-2:10 range, so I don't think that he's going to maintain this pace. They're running ~2:07 pace, which is pr range for most of these guys.
