Meb 3rd Culppper 4th Maiyo killing everyone.
Cheruiyot should be in the 2:06s unless he blows up.
anyone know sell's place?
Cheruiyot just dropped a 4:41, just over 15 for his last 5K. These are amazing splits considering he had to chase people down after a blistering early pace. He looks to have it won. Culp in 4th. Meb within striking distance of second, currently running in third.
is he using a gun or a knife? cuz he sure ain't in the lead anymore.
Culp has a huge kick coming for an amazing time. 2:07ish...Go Culp.
Cheruiyot looks alright, I don't think anyone is going to come close, looks like he's running for time.
go culp!!!! ralllyyy!!!
Men 22 Miles part 2:
Based on his split at 35K, Meb Keflezighi could finish in 2:07:36. That would be the fastest ever at Boston by an American. The current record holder is Bob Kempainen, 2:08:47 in 1994. However, Meb will have trouble holding pace the last 4 miles.
5K 15:23 15:23
10K 30:07 14:44
15K 44:51 14:44

Culp's 75:42 = 75.7 minutes * (41.92km / 25km) = 126.93 minutes = 2:06:57.
Culp and Meb are both looking to lay down some serious times if they can keep it up.

Cheruiyot seems to be extending his lead. He's no longer on 2:05 pace, but should still finish in the 2:06s and break the course record, Ndeti's 2:07:15
