We freaked out a bit yesterday after we learned that the London Marathon would only be streamed on the internet for UK viewers. We were going to contact the BBC about this to see what we could do to get one of the greatest men's marathons ever streamed in the US.
But never fear, the powers that be at the London Marathon clearly read letsrun.com as we received notification today saying that the race will be available to US viewers as well now.
So now all 6 of us can watch it at 4 am:)

may i suggest "hidownload" for those who want to attempt to download the video onto their hard drive as it streams.

What drives me nuts is the next few weeks has great track, road running, and i'm going to see nascar, bowling, classic boxing, april baseball, arena football, and some obscure 2nd rate golf tournament on television.

The London marathon is now being made available in the United States becuase of the 'special relationship' that exists between the UK and the US. You know, the same 'special relationship' that allowed Tony Blair to be hypnotised into thinking that I#$@ was a good idea.
