i raced a local road race a few years ago (sorry i can't find the link) as "Poon Lim."
My parents still get mail addressed to him every year - entry blanks and whatnot.
Google the name.

Well, I didn't run in any name that was of somebody everybody knows but I did run as a friend of mine "Dan Pauken". The fact that I ran under his name wasn't the only thing though. He was in the Air Force and got kicked out for fighting or something like that. Weather or not he was telling the truth I don't know but I know for a fact he was kicked out. Anyways this guy never runs and is in no kind of shape but talks a lot of shit. People like to kick his ass just for shit's and giggles. Because he won't ever shut up. Anyways his Base was hosting a 5k like a month later where everybody in the Air Force had to run in it. And since I kind of look like the guy I decided to dress like him and run under his name. I went on to blow away every single one of them. And in the award ceremonies when they announced his name to come pick up the trophy People started yelling his name at me "Dannnnnn" lol classic.

I don't think it is fake; it may be a nickname. I've seen his name in many results over the years.
