My wife is a good runner and she entered a race with my sister's name as a joke and won. It is funny because my sister smokes and couldn't run 20 feet but she now gets invitations in the mail for elite status to races.
Also I know a guy that enters races as John Porta - results will obviously say Porta, John .
one time i entered with a first name of James Bond and a last name of Bond, so on the results it said Bond, James Bond.

Mike Cox is a real guy and legit too...finished 27th in the OT in the marathon a few years back.
Harrison Potter from Marietta is a good one too...I raced against a kid whose last name was Hunt, and I can't remember which one it was, but either him or his dad's name was Mike.
I've always been a fan of Seinfeld characters as fake names, especially the ones that are fake on there...twice as good!
