Wellbutrin, I think you should consider a change of medications. Paxil Cr is a much better form to treat depression, social anxiety, and OCD. The drug has a much better effect throughout the body, doesn't affect appetite, and gives you an extra boost of energy, especially in mornings.
Seriously, consider it, or talk to your doctor. Wellbutrin, a lot like prozac and lithium, are becoming closet/past drugs for remedial therapy.
Actually, the opposite is true. While responses to drugs vary a good deal from person to person, Paxil often causes weight gain, usually has a sedative effect, has withdrawal symptoms up there with the benzos and Effexor in their sheer awfulness, and (in many people) leads to an increased desire to drink. Wellbutrin often aids weight loss, has a modest stimulant effect, is likely to reduce or have no effect on desire to drink, and has very mild withdrawal symptoms.
Obviously, for an athlete, one of these drugs is somewhat better than the other.
