1. when RER=1, what does this mean, is this the aerobic threshold, where the body is using purely O2
2. what is the RER at the lactate threshold
3. what are lactate threshold values (%HR,VO2Max) for semi-elite versus elite athletes.
4. what does an RER of 1.21 at the end of exercise indicate
5. What are high post-exercise RER >1.5 values from.
6. is anyone familiar with the bruce protocol? if so, how accurate is it.
