Depends on what events you want to do.
How about the biggest inter-university competition; nationals. Arkansas is the best track university in the states (25 track championships) (decent cross country-wise as well). Unfortunately it's nowhere near the best academic university.
Arkansas has dominated for a couple of decades. The haters always take pot shots at the school even thought they don't know anything about it.
