WHOS IT GONNA BE??? BIERBAUM? HUDDLE? ROWBURY? HOROWITZ?

Victoria Mitchell and Ari Lambie shouldn't be overlooked as contenders for the title.
Dont be surprised if it is!........A runner from Michigan named.........Alyson Kohlmeier.....if the pack starts off to fast she will be there at the end. She is a natural front runner and will not be effect as much by the fast pace....but on the other hand if it is a kickers race then her chances go down allot......we will see on Monday!
Ari Lambie of Stanford will be VERY hard to beat. My money is on her and then Victoria Mitchell of Butler and Carolina Bierbaum of Columbia. Ari won easily and had a lot left at the end. And if Stanford women run the way they did last Saturday Duke will be beat.
It will not be Aly, it will be Mitchell, Lambie or Columbia girl and maybe a few more contenders!
Will be close, fun to watch.

If Duke had run their full top 5 at regionals they would have put 5 in the top 10 against five other national qualifying teams.
Caroline Bierbaum will win. Nuff said.
Maybe. Period.
Don't be mislead by the Regional results. Even though Duke ran a spectacular race at Regionals, they are much better than their regional performance will lead you to believe. Duke sat out their #3 and #4 runners at regionals so their #8 and 9 runners could get some more racing experience before NCAA's.
Duke has 8 healthy, strong, confident women ready to race in Terre Haute. I predict they will dominate the NCAA field like they have been doing all season long.
Stanford and Michigan will battle for 2nd place. If Stanford can't close up their 1 minute gap, Michigan will get 2nd as they have a very tight pack of runners.
Rowbury should definitely be in the mix for the individual title with Mitchell, Bierbaum and Lambie. She sat in the pack at regionals, ran a very controlled race, and unleashed her miler's kick in the final 100 meters to win with a very fast 19:55 6K.
I can't wait to see the Duke women standing on the podium holding Duke's first ever NCAA cross country championship trophy!
Go Duke
Johanna Nilsson will win.

Crombie....hasn't she beaten Bierbaum & Huddle so far? 10th last year. World Senior X-C experience. She has to be a factor...correct?
Go Stanford. I agree. Tegen has them rolling.
Ari could win. If not this season wait till next.
She has the pedigree to win and the coach to
take her there .....kathy butler and erica palmer
can attest to that.
No way that Nilsson wins with Lambie, Mitchell and Bierbaum leading the way. Then you have Rowbury, Bolf, Pasciuto (sp?)Huddle, Donaldson, Ferrell and Scherf. Nilsson will be 9th or 10th.
The Colorado girls probably did not run hard at the regional. Look out for them at NCAA's.
Bierbaum
Hard to keep mentioning Huddle with no mention of Madia
Katie Holmes...uh... I mean Cack Ferrell.
Did the three Ivy women have to press hard at NE Regionals?
Any of these 20 could win with an outstanding effort -- and its likely a few will have an outstanding effort on Monday. But based on recent performances I'd predict this to be the most likely finish order:
Mitchell, Lambie, Bierbaum, Nilsson, Rowbury, Horowitz, Ferrell, Crombie, Stublic, Gwyther, Scherf, Osburn, Bolf, Pasciuto, Madia, Huddle, Donaldson, Hastings, Wommack, and McWalters.

That makes a lot of sense...sit out 3 and 4 so two guys who without a disaster WON'T be racing at nationals can get some more racing experience before ncaa's....That's the dumbest thing i think i've heard so far.
I've said it on every thread brought up on this topic and will stand by it, Victoria Mitchell will win it and possibly easiser than I thought a few weeks back.
