Currently leading D3 by 1'5", would be 20th in D1. Unreal.

The real question is when will the SUNYAC meet move to OCC rather than being at that shit hole HOBART. Seriously I've heard its extremely expensive and it might be the worst facility period. Like the worst track facility still in existence. I know Woodsy would freak out if SUNY G had to go more than an hour to get to SUNYACs but come on. Go to OCC or St. Lawrence even Colgate, all are far superior facilities and most are more centrally located in the state. Until then everyone will be embarrassed to post videos from the SUNYAC champs even if someone goes sub 4. HOBART IS A JOKE!
Uh, Woodsy has long spoken out AGAINST Hobart as the Sunyac site. He has routinely suggested Cornell, SLU or Colgate as places to rent. The Sunyac brass continues to view Hobart as centrally located.
On another note, the SUNYAC is head and shoulders above the NYSCTC conferenece in XC and Track.
This thread has been probably the worst SUNYAC threads in awhile. Anyway what do you think of the performances this past weekend going into SUNYAC's?
5000m news: Lee seemed off his game in the 5k, still not a bad time but didn't look so healthy after the race either. Eddie wasn't afraid to mix it up getting after it with a new college PR. Oswego's Finest Dylan Hardwick didn't have to venture to a banked track to throw down a monster time of 15:09 on Cornell's track. Peter Francia was also able to hit an ECAC time(15:13) at Cornell. Other 5k results this week included Cohen Miles-Rath (unat-Geneseo)15:03, Ryan Millar (Plattsburgh)15:06, John Longo (Oneonta)15:07, Pat Wortner (Geneseo)15:09, Tom Hopkins (Cortland)15:18, Josh Mitchell (Plattsburgh)15:19, Chris Mateer (Geneseo)15:37.
Mile news: Boston also seemed to pay off for most of the SUNYAC milers. Leading the charge was Tom Clark (Geneseo)4:15.04 who looked real smooth taking the lead before being edged at the line. Cody Amengual (Cortland) threw down a solid 4:15.24 mile followed by a 1:55.28 800 later in the day. Pat Fannon (Cortland) won his heat in 4:17.24 and closed in a 59.6 for the final 400. The real question is who will actually run the mile at SUNYAC's?
Avery from Brockport ran a decent 3k at Cornell this weekend, almost kicking down Joe Whelan with an 8:46.
Pretty sure Joe Whelan ran the mile this weekend and won but maybe he ran the 3k too?

Nope, it looks like Avery actually lost to Matt Wachtel, A sophomore thrower from Cortland. How embarrassing...
http://www.tfrrs.org/results/22205_1465784.htmlThat thrower should mix it up in the 3k at SUNYACs, what a great story, thrower turned distance runner

Avery's now back in the saddle with a 15:04 at Kent state. Looks like we're gonna have a fun sunyac race on our hands with almost 10 guys under 15:20.
What ever happened to Marcantonio from Cortland ?
Harvey from Oneonta runs 8:39 at NYU Challenge... never even heard of this kid.
For all the talk about this being a weak year in the SUNYAC it's really anything but. Definitely the strongest overall conference in a number of years.

Oneonta has been slowly building a great distance program. They have a lot a lot of great performance from guys who are basically nobodies. Its always good to see guys from "second tier" SUNYAC schools do well.

And 7 guys between 15:10 and 15:15! Gonna be a very tight race. SUNYAC distance predictions?
Another school that is doing awesome after NOT bringing in Jeff Beck.
