AM: 3/4 mile warmup walk with the dog.
2 mile run, stretches.
Later in the PM: unexpected 40-yard all-out sprint chasing my dog, bellowing his name and demanding he stop, out the driveway and down the street, when he went
in pursuit of something.
2 out of 3 neighbors, across the street and next door, witnessed my endeavor:
"Looks like your foot's better. What was he chasing, a squirrel?" One asked. (I never saw the thing in its' entirety, but the chipmunks and squirrels are abundant this year)
"I just saw your dog run by, heard you calling for him, then started to go after him, when you went flying by me" said the other.
Guess my foot's better than I thought. The dog NEVER gets a chance to go off his leash or rope lead, ever again.
NEVER TRUST A PUREBRED TERRIER, THEY WERE BRED TO CHASE SMALL RODENTS AND WILL...THIS GUY IS 11-YEARS-OLD, TOO.
