Agree with your about Switzer.....talk about milking her 15 mins of fame into a career! If you've ever met her you know she's all about her. I've heard her tell the story in person so many times I want to scream every time I hear it....ugh.

Serious patience, hurrying slowly...know your strengths and limitations...train smart and hope your body doesn't cave in due to the weather...all describe Deena.

I use the MUTE button a lot. It drives some people I know to distraction.

Remember some years ago, a Saturday NFL game on NBC with NO ANNOUNCERS? All you heard was the noise of the crowd, the stadium announcers and sideline noise.

Would that they would try that again.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the Tim Hutchings and Toni Reavis comment. Those two are pros and I don't know why NBC coudn't get them. I will try and listen to Eurosport for the men's race while watching it on TV. Amazing race for the American lady, Kastor!

Not sure what Frank is up to, but I've been glued to the set. The women's race was spectacular in all respects.

First, that is just a stupid f***ing statement because it is tough as all f***ing hell to make up :10/mile on women capable of running sub-2:20 in the marathon. Second, the math isn't even correct. If she is a minute behind and makes up :10/mile, then she would be up by :40 seconds wouldn't she???
