Forbes is injured this indoor season. Wont affect her recruiting she is a national champ a few times over but should provide time to go visit schools. I expect her choice by February. I would expect her to stay on the east coast but if she decides to do the multis (mostly does lj and tj and sprints) then she could go oregon.

Meir twins are heading to Duke from Grosse Pointe South. Hannah Meir will be an instant contenter for the 1500 at ACC's. Haley needs to regroup and get heathly to be a varisty runner early on in cross and contribute in track.

He was actually about 15th when he fell, not to make him sound bad, he still is a good runner, but he was not comfortably in 5th place.

I hope she get well soon, and be ready for outdoors. Great Triple Jumper! My daughter is a College Freshman-Multi/TJ and competed again her during her entire HS career.

They always come up with somebody but I'm curious to see what the first post-Vin class looks like. It seems unconvincing to me to have the sprint coach also serving as the head cross country coach. As a recruit I'd have to be asking - what's going on here? RJ might be a great head track coach but as a distrance runner I'd want to go where I'm not training under an assistant coach. Washington has the opposite situstion where Metcalf is the head XC and Track coaches. That's going to be a selling point for them over Oregon.

I've heard that a couple of the top in-state girls are leaning towards signing with Oregon but they are not confirmed as far as I know.

No idea where Montoya and Cheserek will go, but both should take a close look at NAU. Especially Montoya, since he is from Arizona. Shrader, also from Arizona, went for Oregon and had 2 dismal years. Returning home to NAU, 15th in the nation at NCAA's.

Cheserek should also take a close look - Futsum had a great freshman year at NAU. The whole team is returning next year, and if both these guys join, NAU could have a shot at a national title - in my opinion. Compare that to Oregon. If it were me, it would be a no brainer.

Is there scholarships for all these studs?

Some school obviously just focus on distance (ok state for example), but there aren't often that more than 3 scholarships open and they all go to distance in one year.

Oregon can't.

Northern might.

Villanova will.

Arizona won't?
