The 1200 leg is Alex Brimstein, 8:33 and 4:12 to his name. No slouch. 400 leg Jesse Krell. He runs the 400.
According to TFRRS that was actually Matt Denk entered to run the 400. Really good opener for a freshman
13 miles at a decent pace. Got out to some hills which I something I need. Dynamic stretches and core after. 73 on the week.
Too high for anyone in the SUNYAC. No DIII babies run over 50 in a week.
that was jesse in the 400 of the dmr, and i had carter at 1:52.88 in the dmr leg. Its hard to tell because some kid ran directly into him durring the hand off.
Where the heck is Berube? Hurt? Quit? Graduated?
Seems like Geneseo is the only Sunyac team with any NCAA qualifiers in the distances. Anyone else out there?
berube isnt on the indoor team so he can train harder on his own for winning the 1500 or 5k outdoors.

Fargino of Buff St and Matthews of Port are on the 8 list but down aways. Matthews ran at Spire - haven't seen Fargino run since the first Youngstown meet.
Not any Atlantic Region runners up there in the distances either(except Geneseo) until you get to the DMR and see NYU, Rochester and RIT along with Geneseo.
Lots of Buff St sprinters on that National list again however.
My God, the NCAA ransacks you if you run a good time on a 300 meter track and then they pillage you if you run one on a 200 banked one. I'm sorry but that is bull spit!!! What think you?

Agree 110%. Gotta run. More on this thread later.
Look at the times those guys run on oversized/banked tracks, they couldn't touch those times even on a 400m track outdoors with a constant downhill slope and tailwind.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about, outdoor times are generally faster than indoor times whether its 200m banked or 300m. I dont think a 300 meter track has any affect on events over 400 meters.
ECAC Qualifiers (Guys and Girls)
Brockport 12
Buffalo St. 27
Cortland 45
Fredonia 9
Geneseo 36
Oneonta 17
Oswego 2
Plattsburgh 8
No Idea? Mike Heymann ran 14:13 at boston last year and ran a fast 14:33 outdoors. Those guys personal bests for each other distance are not even close to what they ran for 5000 and they will not run faster outdoors. You dumb.
im talking about shorter distances not a 5k, a 5k indoor is perfect conditions no wind, turns dont matter and so on, where as in indoor trying to run a 200/400/800 and even a mile the short turns can effect you alot more than outdoor.

There will be a Berube sighting this weekend at Ithaca. He has been training hard with us but focusing on getting into grad school before he starts racing. Congrats to Lee on Upstate Medical.
Oneonta and Cortland results from colgate

A little off topic, but what has happened to Mike Garger? We all know (and some people before he took the position) used Fredonia as a quick stepping stone to gain a coaching job at St. John Fisher. He is no longer listed as a coach and his assistant Mike Henchen is the interim head coach.
Where is Garger now he leaves Fredonia suddenly last year and now Fisher ? Its gonna be hard to get a job at this rate if keeps this up ... or did he leave for another school ?
