Why, I'll enter the Dagwood Bumfukk Middle School 5K and do my darnedest to win my age division! Literally tens of people will surely see my apparel (as chosen by the "winner" of the ebay auction) as I go to collect my latest hunk of worthless plastic at the awards ceremony.

That is pretty much what I expect out of you. Aim high and your dreams will come true. I wish you luck in your endeavors in winning the your age division of that prestigious race. Do you expect to smash the 19 minute barrier is this event? Is this a hilly course or a flat course and could you sibmit some information regarding this race, I might like to come and root root root for the home team.

another Hater. Why are you hating? is it because he can beat you? is it because you are jealous of him? is it because it makes you feel good to put sombody down because you are a loser and a failure? After the roadrunner posts his results, you should post your reasons for hating. Of course, he would tell the truth, you wont.

OK, I know the usual letsrun comeback aimed at the "haters" is "oh yeah, well I bet you couldn't even run this fast, I bet you're a 20 min. 5ker!" But come on, do you really think that many letsrun posters are that awful? I can understand how sad it is and am willing to bet that a lot of sub 17 guys think they're pretty hot stuff and then rip on guys who can't break 14 for not using their talent, and rip on 17 minute plus guys for not being dedicated. That's s***ty of them to do. But really, I think the whole "yeah, well I bet you can't run that fast" comeback loses any sort of validity when you are talking about times this appallingly slow. Seriously guys, I really doubt a 39 minute or 19 minute 5k would "destory" most runners here. I'll give the letsrun denizens that much credit at least.
I just came across this "blog". I have been a passive runner for a number of years in the state of colorado and have seen this runner over and over. He freaking flies!!! I think he took a second with "easy money's" girlfriend in the woods, but I am not sure. I just know that he was the fastest, just not the best time... I hope that this clears everything up and somebody offers him the money and support he deserves!!!
