The fact is, women can be as cruel as men when it comes to judgments about physical appearance. However, men do have an advantage in that if you have money, the height issue becomes less of a problem. My daughter dated a guy several years ago who was a 6'2" wantabe model and he had a nice car (a very nice car). That was all he had, uneducated, low to no job, still living with his parents at close to 30. Try to imagine a 29 year old man who wears 2 ear rings and has a tattoo on his neck! He once stated that could get any women he wanted and true to form, that's what he did most of the time. My daughter really loved this guy, she is older now and thankfully much wiser because this guy is more of bum now than he was back then. He had 2 kids born in the same year, by 2 different women and he’s not in a relationship with either of the mothers.
My daughter is now dating a young 'man' who is smart, nice, down to earth, well educated, but is about as broke as broke gets, but it does not matter one bit, because he pursing his dream of trying to make it as a pro runner and we all want him to give that his best shot. The most important thing is, this guy loves my little girl to death and btw, I estimate he only about 5'9" ish, which is pretty good for someone who stated she wouldn’t date someone under 6 feet.
