Everyone is missing the elephant in the room.
The charging document the Government has issued is woefully inadequate.
It not only fails to substantiate a charge of second degree murder, it actually supports Zimmerman's defense.
I am amazed that those who support Zimmerman are not outraged at the prosecutor for setting forth such a poor case. An experienced prosecutor to boot. She has to know how badly her charging instruments fall short of the mark.
Why aren't Zimmerman supporters outraged? Because I think the intuit this is a political prosecution and don't care about the facts as their "cause" governs above all else. This must be the case, because if they truly and profoundly believed that Zimmerman was culpable for second degree murder they would be outraged at the lousy charging document and presentation of evidence. I think they just wanted an arrest and a charge and a trial, hoping mob rule will prevail. Or, as is also likely, they are so emotional they do not look at the evidence to date.
Again, I leave open the possibility of Zimmerman's guilt for manslaughter, but this cause is undercut by an overreaching incompetent set of charging documents and case to date.
