I think she's moderately hot. Yes, I'm a chubby chaser.

She is to British pop what Alan Culpepper was to American distance running. Good, serious, hard-working performer but way too overexposed due to being around at a time when there's a shortage of top-class talent.
More like Tim Culpepper

You are definitely not a moraon for liking Adele so much; I like Adele too, but comparing her to Whitney is a bridge too far. Whitney is in that special category of a dozen or so women are true iconic talents. Even as an Adele fan, she is 2nd tier at this point in her career. Btw, winning a lot of Grammy's as Adele did is partially a matter of who you are competing against that year. (Adele didn't have much competition.)
I am not sure Adele could have won Grammys in the mid-80s if she had to go up against Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Guns & Roses, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Madonna, Marich Carey, Luther Vandross, Cyndi Lauper, Phil Collins, Garth Brooks, Journey, U2 and Janet Jackson, etc. I don't think all of these artists were necessarily better, but they sold tons of records and won lots of awards and in one of those mid-80s years, Adele may not have won any Grammys. - 2011 was a 'very down year in music; Whitney won Grammys competing against icons.
With all of that said, I love Adele's voice. (Just keeping it real!)
Bon Jovi? Cyndi Lauper? Janet Jackson? U mad bro?
She was a good shot-putter in her early days at Belgrave Harriers posting a 16 metre throw as an under 20. She did dabble with the longer distances for a bit but could only manage 17.07 for 5k and 35.36 for 10k before she quit the sport to focus on pop music.
Even if you don't like her voice you have to admit she is a superb songwriter. How many of the greats had recorded a classic album by the age of 22?
Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Mozart.............Sarcasm by the way.....though Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift were the two highest paid female recording artist last year....and many people don't like lady gaga. She may be weird, but some of her live stuff is incredible. Woman has some talent
Her voice is too forced. It's not natural. Kind of like James Blunt shoved up Aretha Frankln's butt.
Congrats to Adele on bagging an Oscar.
I don't care much for algebraic topology.
Good singer
That Skyfall song is hardly a classic bond theme
jennifer hudson was amazing. adele was a bore.

Most are co-written
Meaning she has written about 1 line

I turned on the TV about half way through Hudson's performance. I thought it sucked. She was basically screaming into the mic in what sounded like a high pitched squeal. Maybe the first part was better.
I think all of the computerized 'help' performers get in the studio really hurt them when they sing live (when they do actually perform live). They suck compared to their recorded versions.
