Why doesn't anyone care about Native Americans?

There are still native americans out there??? I thought we killed all of them with small pox?

Do not go together. The primary reason that "no one cares" is that this a VERY ugly side of American history. It makes people uncomfortable so it is "better" left un-talked about.

So how come 6 million Jews get killed by Hitler and it is still the subject of movies (rightfully so), but 11.75 Million American Indians get killed by USA settlers and no one ever talks about it?

I mean, it's not even really considered bad to be racist against American Indians.

I love the argument on page one where the guy says, "Hey, they are welcome to join us at any time." I'd love to see how he'd react if someone came into his neighborhood, killed his family, ruined everything he held dear and then told him to quit whining and join society.

Seriously? You do not see the obvious differences, not from a moral perspective but from a cultural perspective (which is all that counts regarding the OP's question)?

Let's start with this - Hitler & Co. were ultimately defeated. The Europeans who invaded America and nearly wiped out the Indians were not. Indeed, they are still in charge.
