Oregon Trail (original 8-bit version)

Games that give me goosebumps when I see their logos:
Oregon Trail
Civilization series
Myst/Riven
Final Fantasy VII (all of them really, but this is my favorite)
Ocarina of Time (all of them, but this is my favorite)
Mario Kart 64
Halo (the original)
Star Wars KOTOR
Fable
Call of Duty 2
FIFA series
Guitar Hero
More recent series I wish I had more time to play are Bioshock/Mass Effect/Elder Scrolls.
Yes, I recognize that I'm a nerd.
Tribes....the original for the PC
Console...no doubt Zelda.

We have a winner. Game over.
may not be the best of all time.. but I'm surprised no one has said Star Fox 64. I slaved away hours on that game just beating the real andross over and over and over when I was a kid
games that I'll give my tip to as favorites-
Starfox 64
F-Zero GX
Star Wars Pod Racer
Resident Evil 4
Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge
Super Smash Bros Melee- I actually like melee better than the original
Mario Kart- every one in the series is phenomenal
Tony Hawk 2 (64)
Tony Hawk Underground (GC) - this game is the reason my grades sucked freshman year of college
Pokemon R/B/Y
NHL Hitz 2002
Roller Coaster Tycoon and the 2nd one
Driver
I know I'll be bashed when I say this.. but i actually never played ocarina of time as a kid, I remember renting majora's mask a few times back to back to play for a while but I never did get around to buying either of them. I definitely feel like i missed a part of childhood.
Quake III Arena
Mario Kari Wii
Day of Defeat
Counter-Strike
1. Super Smash Bros!!!!
2. Age of Empires (all of them)
3. Halo 1 and 2
4. NFL Blitz
5. Thief (for the computer SO GOOD)
Descent and Descent 3 (2 was decent but derivative of the original). I played the hell out of those games. As geeky as it sounds, I sometimes actually get nostalgic for playing Descent into the wee hours of the morning.
World of Warlords or Runescape ftwwwww

I actually played Runescape back in like 2005, it was a pretty good game.
Been a while since I played it though. As for World of Warcraft, it just seemed tedious and repetitive to me. Just my take on that.
Favorite game would probably be Final Fantasy VII.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms (NES)
I loved the X-com series.
Single Player: Zelda OoT
Multiplayer: Counterstrike on the PC
I don't think I've ever been so addicted to a game as I was when I played counter-strike competitively.
I forgot about counter Strike. My (girlfriend at the time) wife nearly left me over that damn game.
