one of the assistants from Butler applied as well as a few other miscellaneous names in the head and assistant pools. i would expect the school to be conducting interviews soon. very, very strange hires for the past couple of coaches and I wonder if the AD and search committee will finally get it right.
They are starting interviews this week. Word on the street is that it will be either Tamra Burns or former assistant Doug Hoover who is currently at Juniata College.
Doug Hoover (assistant at D3 Juniata) was interviewed Thursday and Chris Tarello (assistant D1 Monmouth) was interviewed Friday. Darren Gauson (assistant D1 Butler) scheduled for next week as well as the current interim Tamara Burns.
Interesting candidates to say the least.
SFU gonna name Gauson the new head coach on Thursday....good pick by the red flash....he will do extremely well

Has Tarello ever been a paid (non-volunteer) coach at the college level? Last paid job that I knew of him having was as a high school coach in Massascusetts.

Wrong. Rumor is Doug Hoover will be hired as the next coach at SFU.
Burns to be head coach and Hoover as distant assistant is what I heard from the mountain.
very disappointed to see the program fall this far. is this the best the AD could do?
