Thanks for the info. Those are still not posted on the performance list; but because they're for Princeton, they just solidify my picking the Tigers as men's team favorite.

There really does seem to be a home track advantage for the Big Red, but it would have to be massive for the Cornell men to match Princeton--or even Columbia--in running-event points. I don't know what's changed, but the last time I saw the Heps at Cornell, their distance runners--well, all their runners, truth be told--were just dominant. This year, unless RoJo's really got something up his sleeve, the Cornell men look to be headed for zero points in the three longest individual races. Can't win a Heps that way (usually).

It could be that the distance guys won't be disclosed until the day of the race... so they could still get a few points there.

Ok, big race weekend. Princeton is sending Cabral, Callahan, and maybe one or two others out to the Husky Invite (the entries list is not the easiest thing to search through by schools). I believe Dartmouth is also heading out that way too.

Meanwhile, teams will be competing at both the Millrose Collegiate Invite and the BU Valentine meet. Cornell is hosting another invite in Ithaca (they'll probably dominate again since they'll be competing against many other local schools who don't have as strong of a track/field program).

Harvard has HYP this weekend. I wonder if Cabral and Callahan out in Washington makes it more of a balanced meet?

Abbey D'Agostino (Dartmouth) vs. Emily Infeld (Georgetown) vs. Emily Sisson (Providence) at 8:30 tonight at BU Valentine. Going for the auto time and the 9:00 barrier.

Alexi Pappas (Dartmouth) and Waverly Neer (Columbia) are also in the race and both have solid shots at the auto mark. Could see some of the fastest ever league 3ks tonight...should be a good one.

And straight to the top! His 23.19/76'1" throw is a Heps record by three feet!

That's also an NCAA auto and the top mark in 2012. He's now the the 10th AT collegiate performer and 4th American on the list. However, he competed in the Irish Nationals last summer after competing in the Jr Worlds for the US the previous year, so we'll see how that shakes out.

And yesterday's meet showed again that HYP are no longer playing the same game. With Princeton and Harvard expanding and liberalizing athletic admissions and program support and Yale going the other way, you get results like yesterday. And it will only get worse. Yale's president was recently quoted that when the two new colleges open and enrollment expands, the number of supported admissions for athletes will not.

The usual mix, with marks that change the League's top ten performances (

) in several events--but it's not clear that all the other Ivies' meet results from this weekend have been posted. (It also appears that some random results through the course of the whole season have not been posted, or perhaps have been removed!) A couple of jump performances caught my eye: a second Cornell man (Butler, 2.14m) over 7-0 in the HJ, Hewitt improving her LJ season's best (6.19m).

The HYP results (

), which have also been entered on the performance list (creating a boatload of changes in top-ten Ivy marks, in every event area except the distance races), make for interesting reading.

The Princeton men, with several MIAs, nevertheless handled a good Harvard team with ease. And the Princeton women defeated an excellent Harvard squad, seeming to have (re-)established themselves as a legitimate threat to retain their Heps title. (This bunch is "coming around" fast.)

Looks like it was a great meet!

Oh, and good to see Adam Cotton, under whatever circumstances, competing for Harvard.

Can't believe I left this out: Montez Blair LJed 23-0/7.01m (didn't contest the HJ, apparently), but that only ties him for Cornell's fifth-best performer this season. I could see him as a long-term "project" for the TJ...

**I saw an earlier post that said Princeton had a couple of good heptathlon performances--but they don't show on the tfrrs performance list. This by itself would be enough to currently project Princeton as the winner. I also agree that 30 points for Cornell in the heptathlon seem pretty unlikely.

**It seems some other marks are missing too, maybe from Dartmouth? When I first took a look at the list this morning, it didn't have Princeton's Stilin and Cabral in the 3,000...

So take this whole thing with a shaker of salt, I'd say.

Actually, there were a lot of close races at HYP, particularly in the sprints. I bet Harvard could get a few more points in the sprints with their current frosh.

I can also see him running 48.x in the 400h. The kid is built for it.
