The course is very fast, the first turn doesn't come until well past 2 miles. There is one more turn, then it's almost a straight shot to the finish. Essentially 10k of straight and flat. Taking into account the curvature of the earth, I doubt that it could be any flatter.

yep jennings steals a lot of ink not for his exploits but for his adventures. He has yet to pr ( correct me if i am wrong) in 1500 since he went off to show el g how to do it by going to learn a martial art...i guess you have to go to brazil to learn a martial art and there is no flights there...anyone dedicated to the sport would have ridden a bike to supplement running while taking the damn class at a university or ymca. but i guess with all the drug scandals it was a nice filler ...did he learn...i think he did...he did not swim to kenya!!!! yep he went native and trained in kenya...didn't bike there or swim there...that is progress...alright...but now he learns to make excuses for bad performances ( adjustment from flying from kenya) current situation IS progress again....he is by what i have read been training at altitude in the states and racing again...but can't break 30"00 despite all that talent and now sponsorship and who knows what else....perhaps he biked to alabama?

i think they are upbeat because the pace he fell off of was "American Record Pace" and he is in base training.

I normally think that the Hansons are only successful in the marathon but I have to give you guys some props. 2 guys in the top 4 is pretty impressive and 4 of the top 12 is outstanding. Great job fellas.
