Julia Perry was 4th for Lehigh, Mary Prakel was 8th for Army and Deanna Godby was 10th (Bucknell)
Course was pretty firm, good footing on the hill with a few muddy spots. While the women's race was good it was clearly the second most exciting race of the day. Practically everyone was pulling for the Lehigh boys to upset Navy and they were HUGE!

I think if Lehigh's real 5th would've finished the last 100m their score would've been a lot better. Ridiculous that it was only a 2 point gap.

To have your fifth man drop out like that and still win is huge. It'll be very interesting to see how they place at regionals.
Big loser of the day: Bucknell
How many 9:10-9:20 2-milers do they supposedly get out of high school every year? The way they've been peaking the past few years, I'd say that there has to be something wrong with the program. I have a hunch the problem is Donner and inability to coach/peak. I would be very interested to compare high school 2-mile prs between them and Lehigh actually.
Great day for Lehigh. Would have been a miserable way to lose the championship. Those guys deserved it. Besides Lehigh winning, the teams stacked up pretty much like everyone thought it would.
Great run for Johnson. Looked really smooth and seemed like he could have gone faster if he needed to. We'll see what regionals and nationals brings for him.

No one here gives a rats ass about Coach Monz, Weston, Fayetville-Manlius, or whether or not you think it's going to rain in New Jersey today.
Why don't you say something insightful about Lehigh's underclassmen, American's continuous slump, Bucknell's issues developing talent, Navy's first PL loss in a few years, Chris Johnson's nationals forcast, or the injury status of Lehigh's #5 heading into regionals?
