Kind of going back to club nationals - a suprising winner on the guys side. While not a division 2 guy, the individual winner was Jonathan Grey, a PA. If I'm not mistaken, he is the twin brother of former SRU runner Matt Grey. What an impressive performance! He came out and took it to the field what heralded the likes of Aaron Braun and Matt Centrowitz. Any thoughts on this?

Heard that Edinboro men now have indoor? Anyone know if this is legit?

Heard the same thing as well, but was informed that title 9 rules won't allow this to happen this indoor season. As for next year there may be a chance for them.

Title IX is a piece of crap, the same with altitude conversions.

I'll drink to that. The political bullcrap is just that, bullcrap. Boro should be able to field an indoor team just like everyone else. One of the main virtues of our sport is being tested against the best to get the best out of yourself. With a team like Boro being left out, it leaves alot of good athletes out of contention and effectively shortchanges the competition which in turn shortchanges what the rest of the athletes are getting out of it.

Looks like Neely Spence has decided to go pro and forego her senior track seasons in order to take a shot at the olympics:

This is big news! I think it's a great move by her to take a shot at the olympics, especially since it looks like she'll be running the 10k - an event with a depleted field since it seems like a lot of the elites in the longer distance events will be focusing on the marathon.

Anyone else have thoughts? I wish Neely the best of luck, and I'm sure she'll still continue to impress us all on the professional level.

I'd be more impressed if she was going pro on the food network for cooking.

With the Ship women losing their star, the PSAC crown is now open to anyone!

Ship loses spence but picks up Crawford a D1 transfer from Nebraska.

Ship also has Spratford who continues to improve and will vie to win the 5 and 10k

Plus all the other top females in the conference have weight problems - both too heavy and too thin. Ship does not allow unhealthy athletes to race. Other schools should follow suit. It's dangerous and honestly, hard to watch a skeleton go around the track. It's not Halloween.

Either way, Ship is as prepared as ever to retain all three crowns

Pretty Cruel comments there son. IF you knew anything about women with eating disorders you would know that those kinds of comments actually make the situation worse. It is a severe mental illness that takes time and immense effort to overcome and often they never return to competition. There but by the grace of God go I. Compassion goes a long way and condescending self riotousness is the sign of a man with out that.

This thread is more pathetic than ESU's chances at winning the indoor PSAC championship. Anyway, first weekend of legit indoor competition, anyone going to throw down some fast times?? Seems like most of schools are all competing at different places

Beegle 2:29.1 in the 1k and Schelander 4:13.23 in the mile at Bucknell.
