Come back Rustamon.
Will you be at Patriots?

No, I'm afraid I won't be making it. Elise Deroo isn't going to be there, I have no interest in going.

Actually, I find I can get all the information that I really need from reading this board. So, what's the point? It's cold; heck, it will probably snow! I will post my prediction for the women's event because my posts get such clever and cogent responses.
Oh boy, women's predictions! The reason nobody gives a crap about the women's side outside of the runners themselves and their families was already succinctly given by you.

For instance, there's a HS team within 40 miles of Colgate which would put five girls inside Colgate's top three women. Maybe seven.
I miss Rustamon.

Not sure how to tell you this - but Elise Deroo graduated. Sorry man, I know it's hard when they leave...
Actually, it was harder when she was there!
http://instantrimshot.com/Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. Tell your friends!

Snake Charmer, For one who claims disinterest in what I threaten to write, you've sure done your homework on what I've already written. Btw, said high school's boys team is currently ranked #1 in the state and would probably run loops around the Colgate men.
Yeah there are lots of HS's better than Patriot League teams. Us HS coaches are just as good as you college coaches and many times have better teams than you college teams. (SMH)
FM's (#1 school within 40 miles of Colgate) best performances over any distance converted to 5k (taken from tullyrunners)
15:20
15:48
16:38
16:50
16:55
Colgate best 8k's converted to 5k's (using Daniels tables in both instances)
14:47
15:42
15:44
15:56
16:14
Clearly not running loops around the Colgate men. Rustamon please GTFO of this thread you're annoying everyone.

Well that's simply not true.
Patriot League Championship this Saturday. Predictions? Anyone think Colgate's course will finally bring Lehigh down to earth?

It's a fair course, but hopefully everyone has had some hill experience this season.
Anyone else remember that Hanko ran a 26:17 FTW last time Patriots was at Colgate?
I predict slow times, with a crazy fast last mile.

No, you're correct. They would not run loops around Colgate. My point was overstated. They would, however, give them a good run. Nick Ryan 4:05 (1600), 9:03 (3200) and Bryce Millar (4:21,9:39) would score regularly for Colgate were they running today. Beyond that the FM team has some serious depth. Using XC times for comparison is not very reliable. Those FM kids don't run a lot on relatively flat, wide, ego boosters the way some college teams do. And, why would you want to discourage my participation when what I post clearly gave you the chance to do a little internet research? I'm curious why you felt it necessary to adopt a new alias to make your unfriendly post. You may have doubts/misconceptions about who I really am, but my participation on this thread is consistent. I always post under the same user name.

(corrected for where the post should have ended)
I know you have all been eagerly awaiting my predictions for the women this weekend. (If not, then change your user name and post something nasty and misogynistic.) Here goes:
Team:
1. Navy
2. Bucknell
3. Army
4. Colgate
5. Lehigh
6. Holy Cross
7. Lafayette
8. American
Astute observers will notice the similarity with the pre-season poll except for positions 6 and 8. Far harder to predict are the individuals, with the exception of Beveridge who has been the class of the league season to date.
Individuals:
1. Beveridge - Navy
2. Byrne - Navy
3. Junta - Army
4. Brackett - Colgate
5. Robinson - Navy
6. Tolli - Bucknell
7. Keene - Colgate
8. Jessie - Bucknell
9. Hughes - Holy Cross
10.Willey - Lafayette
Only four women on this list finished in the top-20 for the PLC last year. The list includes two rookies and several more underclasswomen. Weather supposed to be pretty dry this week, warm through Friday. Should be a great day on Saturday.
Now and forever posting for my adoring readers and violent critics as,
Rustamon
It's bed time Rusty

Does anyone know if Elise DeRoo will be there? Also, does anyone know if Elise is single?

There has to be at least a 5% chance that the Elise Deroo hype is coming from Elise Deroo herself, right?
That's what I want to believe anyway.
There has to be at least a 5% chance Elise DeRoo is hot in a city right now.
That's what I want to believe anyway.
