Even if harp and burnick go 1 ,2 in that race they lose bad to Dickinson and beat etown by 2. They did not sit anyone else of consequence that day.

that was a pretty small meet at sru. with a 1-2 punch like slippery rock has the bigger the meet the more damage they do to schools like dickinson and e-town.
hey just to throw this one out there. dickinson beat LHU at Penn State by 8 points. Lock came in 10th at PSAC's although looks like their number 2 might have had an off day or something. looking at a really small meet early in the season is quite hard to compare to a late season championship. i think dickinson and e-town would be competitive in theory but I don't think either of them would be in the top 5.
either way they aren't and the freaking regional is going to be a war for the 2nd spot to ncaa on the women's side. should be interesting to see what happens.
you're right, it was a small little meet, i'm sure sru was looking right past it and not rested or tapered in any way...but you don't think you could say the same about the two teams that beat them? i'm sure they only went way the hell out there only to see their own regional course, not prove they were psac worthy!
awright whatever. it might be close but we'll never know. good luck to your team at regionals...whoever they are!
Ahnold, who are you? I need a name if you want me to e-mail you.
Also, after watching Ship at conference, could this be the year that a PSAC team finally cracks that top 8 at Nationals and brings home that extra spot, namely for the guys? A 17 second spread from 1-5 and packing 8 in the top 20 sure bodes well if they can run that way at nationals.
I hope they finish better than top 8. Ship finished seven guys before every team's 5. If Ship keeps running the way they are, I could see a top 5 finish. Thats if they don't pull a Lock Haven from last year.
Not to mention that they got 5th at Louisville pre nats in October. Talk about pack racing, WOW!! Saw them race on Saturday and they looked really strong! Rumor has it they were only doing a workout too!!
It sure will be interesting to see how teams/individuals perform at regionals...don't forget about Mugun, he's in our region, I believe. BTW, has anyone been able to access a map of Wakemed Soccer Park? I've heard it's a fast course, aside from a gradual hill.
unable to get the regional map to load as of yesterday around 4 PM. And I give Chebii the nod over Mugun based on this result. But I am sure Mugun will put himself in the race early.

Thanks a lot! I've heard people say this 10k is much different than the one at nattys in 03
Steve Wainwright will run for and win the Presidential election of 2024. You heard it here first.
FIVE DAYS AWAY. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THE DRAMA PLAYS OUT.
3 days until the big dance!! Who's excited to race down in NC? Looks like the course is fast and weather is going to be awesome. Should be a nice set up for a great race and some fast times. Anyone headed down to watch? I'm assuming the PSAC fan base won't be as large as usual..
Gonna watch Edinboro boys and girls qualify for nationals!!
Men's results are up:
Haven wins overall, Ship 2nd.

Wow what a tight race on the Men's side! There are years any one of those top 3 teams would have won the race. The course was an incredibly fast surface and not very technical, although I don't think anyone trusts those mile marks at all.
We're sending two very good teams to Nationals on the Men's side. How great would that be if they were both in the Top 8? Good job, everyone.
