how about the award for gutsiest psac performance. i say its a toss up between stetler for running all 3 distance races or jamieson for running the 800 trials and finals on a broken foot

Wagner just earned AA honors in the hammer; Neely is in a boot; and Outman just ran 24.37 in 200 from the inside lane during multi. LJ is about to start for men with women to follow. 10K tonight and it is hot. GO PSAC.

I heard Abby Huber qualified for the 1500 final, and Josh Neyhart ran around 4:10ish which I'm guessing did not get him there.

josh sry about that comment i wrote. truely It was uncalled for. i wrote it trying to be funny but i was not, just mean for no reason as you never did anything to me. i reported that comment almost as soon as i wrote it. hopefully they will delete it soon.

ship didnt have women 1600 relay team? from what i recalled them had a good team and no one left last year. And I believe hess set a new school record in the 4.

....it's woman's sports

The men and women from PSAC did a fantastic job at nationals with 25 earning all american status. Two repeated as national champions(Neely-Ship, Harris-IUP). Outman (IUP) set an all time PSAC record in the hepthalon, Seigworth (SRU) and Outman broke the conference record in the 400IH trials, and then Outman reset it in the finals.

The Ship women finished 9th as a team and IUP was 20th. IUP men place 17th to lead the conference. There probably was some athletes/coaches of the year awards but have not officially heard. If you know give props.

It's now XC season, it's going to be another exciting and close year. A couple things that come to my mind...is Hilton going to run away with it this year? Is Hahn going to run? Which of the big 3 is going to get left at home from nationals this year? Having Getz healthy will really really help Haven, can Beegle stay healthy and be Ship's #1? If the Boro can't get Hahn or McLaughlin healthy they are going to be hurting bad.

Lock Haven gets a huge recruiting coup by bringing in Indian Valley's Alex Monroe (9:07 3200, 3rd AAA states). They also are bringing in AA xc champ Stephan welsh, among others

kyle botten is returning to the sru line up. i don't think the PSAC is ready for his return.

Lock Haven is no longer getting Stephen Welsh, he is going to E-town. The 9:07 Kid is the real deal though

Men:

Hilton in a rout.

Team- Track results lean heavily toward ship and haven. Boro is still going to be tough, a couple nice recruits coming in. Haven at PSACs, Ship at Regionals.

Women:

Spence. The gap between her and Harpp is a little bigger in XC.

Ship. going to pick a Harpp lead Slippery Rock team for the second spot.

After scanning through the thread over the past few years and being out of touch with the Psac. I find it interesting that the most talked about person on these threads is shizzy. For a person to have stirred that much comment over a conference and for you to spend so much time bashing, and railing is just plain ridiculous. Obama does the same and I still voted for him. Must mean something. Good luck to Shizy. For the rest of you, XC is upon us and I'm hoping to hear some predictions for the upcoming season.
