Thanks for your encouragement The Decision! The naysayers will not derail my path to the indoor American 3K record. Only serves to fortify my singlemindedness in achieving said goal. My training progressing nicely. I could forsee a record attempt within the next six weeks. Will keep you informed!

You need to spend less time training and more time meditating - to get the more important mental aspect ready to go for this attempt.

If you can go sub 8:30 with a 20 lb backpack on a downhill track, it should be easy.
