And of course, you rather conveniently ignored the valid point that was made earlier in the post. Let me guess... DyeStat alumni? Is that you, AJ?
I'm conveniently ignoring everything because I've pointed out what I want to and I know that we disagree.
Jacob burcham in the 5K, except he may be a little more well-built for the 1500
To people complaining about Bumbi kicking it in in the 5K prelim...perhaps you've forgotten, but in 2008 Rupp ran the 5K prelims, sprinted past Solinsky and 3 or 4 other guys in the last 100, celebrated while crossing the line, and then SCRATCHED from the final, which denied someone else the chance to race. This act was way more "deplorable" than anything Bumbalough did this year.

In other words, you feel that a DNS is actually worse than a runner who shoves another competitor in the back while no other athletes are nearby? Wow! With a warped value system like yours, I certainly hope that you aren't coaching young athletes.

Well, it's difficult to come up with a counter-point when you are obviously much more articulate than I am. Well done, sir!
How did you determine how articulate rill is? Or are you unaware that the term "articulate" specifically refers to the ability to speak fluently and coherently?

Not necessarily, Engrishman...

If you are going to be a spelling & grammar troll, you might want to ensure that you actually know the facts before you start talking trash.
5k: Rupp, Bumbi, Fernandez
10k: Rupp, Solinsky, Puskedra (Yeah)
5000: Bumbi, Jäger, Hill
10,000: Fernandez, Derrick, Rupp
Although I wouldn't be surprised if Rupp moves to the marathon. Also, I'm sure at least one name no ones mentioned or considered will be on there. And Jäger might stick with the steeple. By the way, I don't want to wade into the argument about Bumbalough and the OT, but I do want to say that anyone in the sport who knows or has met the guy likes and respects him. I've encountered him a few times and been very impressed by his maturity and friendliness.

We need a full congressional investigation!

I was wrong. In the future, I will endeavor to spend much less time acting like a condescending idiot.
1500: Centro, Manzano, Fleet
Steeple: Jager, Cabral, Bayer
5,000: Rupp, Hill, Bumbi
10,000: Rupp, Derrick, True
I like these picks.

Here are mine, very close:
1500 - Centro, Fleet, Leer
Steeple - Jager, Huling, Cabral
5000 - Rupp, Mead, Hill
10,000 - Rupp, Derrick, True
Huling and Leer will be pretty old, but I still like their chances of coming through. Mead looks like a lock to me. Bumbi is also tough though.
This thread bump made me see my picks from almost two years ago. Except for Solinsky I think my picks were pretty good. I still think there is a chance Centro moves up to 5000M in 2016. Lopez Lomong I think is still a pretty good of bet as any for the 5000M. Age has to catch up with Lagat by 2016. It has to.

Who?
How can Leer be mentioned.
He never places in the top 3 unless it is indoors and nobody shows up and maybe more importantly, he never has run the A-standard.
5000m - Lagat, Mead, True
10,000m - Rupp, Derrick, Lomong
