However, the anonymous research (coupled with some investigative reporting subterfuge) showed that Lance tested positive for synthetic EPO 6 times (and 2 more were suspect) on 6 different days, with a profile that makes sense for this tour, while the rest of the peloton only tested positive 7 times (2 of those on the first day), and the remaining 72 samples fell short of the testing criteria for a positive.
The UCI and WADA are compelled to follow their own rules, and ignore this evidence, but the public is not.
