"Can you say European bicycle stage racing?"
My wife and I are huge fans of European pro cycling. I don't know if LV has any interest, but I'll tell you this: life as a pro triathlete will be glamorous compared to that of a pro cyclist. Be prepared to suffer and enjoy it.
Yes, elite pro cyclists can make big money, and the best supporting riders make $400-$500k per year, but it's a grind +1. You really have to WANT to be a pro cyclist, or you'll never withstand the schedule and severity of it. There is no glamour and no substitute for riding 5-7 hours per day, on all terrain, going 20-30 mph with team. It never ends.
I don't think LV has displayed any unique skills on a bike. Drafting in a group in a triathlon is nothing that hundreds of fast amateurs can't do any day. Plus you need a lot of cycling "infrastructure" in your body before you really can ride at a pro-level (meaning you need to be ride 100-150 miles fast like it's a walk in the park).
Anyway, I'm intrigued by the idea, but I don't think, IMO, LV is up to the lifestyle required to be a successful pro cyclist.
