This is a tragedy but not a case of police brutality. If stupidity was grounds for a death sentence, letsrun.com would have a very sparsely populated message board. She didn't go into a coma from being tasered. She didn't go into a coma from hitting her head. She went into a coma because both of the previous conditions were combined with a near overdose level of drugs in her body. Straw/camel kind of thing. It is not shocking that her mother blames someone else. That is how this girl got to the stage where she is at now. That is the tragedy. Police are tasered as part of their training - or at least were a few years ago - in order to give them proper respect for what it does. Hit and run and run again is someone who is out of control. A taser was a fair call in that situation. The consequences could never have been foreseen. Raise your kids right. Respect the police. Once you choose to go against them, you are at their mercy. That is not a place you necessarily want to be. In the end, people who believe in anarchy get just that; but for some reason they think everyone else should follow the rules but them. This is usually how it turns out for them.
