eddie novara 4:12. that is fast running.
1 Mead, Hassan Minnesota 8:03.84
2 Rombough, Chris Unattached 8:06.70
3 Sathre, Ben St. Thomas 8:07.02
Anybody who think Kramer has the title locked up in the 5k better rethink that...

Damn, that is flying. We could very well see a D3 guy go sub-14 indoors.
Damn Schmidt from Middlebury and Schillit from Haverford go 14:10 and 14:12 respectively at BU. I expected some similarly fast times this season in the 5k, but not necessarily from those guys. Will be interesting to see if they can hang with the likes of Berube and Sathre come nationals. Heymann ran 14:13 at the same meet last year and I think ended up 7th.
Haverford also puts 5(!) other guys under 14:50 at BU. Any other notably fast results from this weekend?
Damn Schmidt. I wonder if he hates his parents for giving him that name.
Very impressive showing of depth from Haverford. Also a good meet for Middlebury with Schmidt's 14'10 and Davies running 14'39.
Does anyone know why Kramer's time doesn't appear on the DirectAthletics/TFRRS D3 Performance list? Is he eligible to compete this season?
If so, pretty solid that we have 3 guys sub 14'20 this early in the season. I think Sathre can probably get down there as well after his 8'07 3k this weekend. Should be some very fast times at nationals and hopefully outdoors as well.
nice early season mile time from Bucknell this weekend
Section 4
1 Speiden, Russell Elizabethtown 4:10.62
UW-Whitewater's Squig Converse Invite is tomorrow. Mile, 3k, 5k are all strong fields. Besides UWW expect, Chicago, North Central, La Crosse, Augustana, Oshkosh, Stout, and Loras. I'd say that's about the best DIII only meet I can think of.
Heat sheets for the UWW meet?

He ran the race unattached. I have no idea why but I suppose its possible he's not planning on competing for Calvin this season, though that would be kinda weird.
So Scheetz ran 1:18 last week at springfield, and he appears to be entered in the mile at BU. Predictions?

4:10 would be my guess for this weekend. He is best trained for the 800 right now as one would clearly expect, but his mile times are coming down quickly. Should be a good one in the near future.
I would say he is in 1:50 shape right now for the 800. We will see that from him quite soon.
What a weekend. Sheetz 4:03.xx, Sathre 14:10, Hutton 1:49.xx numerous DMR's under 9:55. BU 5k still to come.
Is this ones of the fastest years indoors for D3 distance ever?
Wenley Louis (Geneseo) jumps 7.77 today (25'6"). Nation leader by 1'5"

Is that the guy who's like 4'6"? Could they be a podium team with like 5 guys this year?
Scheetz runs 4:03.95. unbelievable. came in second in his heat to guarino.

Makorobondo Salukombo also made his debut in Boston running 14:24.58 to out kick Novara. First indoor 5k ever if I'm not mistaken.
Does anybody know splits from the D3 DMRs at Valentine? What did Bowdoin, Bates, Midd, MIT and Tufts look like?
Wabash was another D3 team at the Valentine meet. They didn't run too bad, 3rd fastest all time in D3.
