As a former Holy Cross XC runner, I would say 8th place is not bad in the Patriot League considering they don't recruit AT ALL. I wish that would change. Maybe whenever they get a new coach. In is former life he was a great hammer guy so he has limited knowledge of XC and no recruiting skills. None of us went there or go there to win and we are all aware that we are not competative on the D1 level so give us a break.
Rumor has it they are getting a new 200m indoor track to replace the 135m(I think) circular gym floor track. Maybe that will help turn the programs around. Of course if they were competing for the Patriot League championship I would not even be a scorer so I can't complain.
