i doubt neyhart will run 3:52 again. i think he has seen his fastest years in the past. his year in xc proved that i feel. as for beegle he was hurt at the end of cross and is probably being extra careful so he can race outdoors this year.
looks like ship should throw together a sick dmr and from looking at their 1k times a solid 4x8 doesn't look like it's out of the question either. any other team got what it takes to challenge them? haven doesn't look as strong as in the past and the rock's hurting in the distance dept. iup could be a contendor, but we'll have to see how they do without hatch this year.

The poster was poking fun at the fact that the Big 10 is notorious for having slow 1500 / mile championship races. They're always run very slow with a huge kick at the end. Every year there is a thread on LetsRun complaining about it.
The rock is hurting in the distance department but they could have a good 4x800 team... they have 4 guys on the roster who have run sub 2:00, with three of them already 1:56 or below this indoor season

Lock DQed due to exchange violation, they ran sub 10 and would have gotten the auto to nats.
Look at the coaching salaries of the top three schools and then compare them to the rest. My guess, the rest fall way behind and therefore most other coaches probably work a "Real" full-time job and coach for mad money? Anyone know for sure?
I thought lock haven got DQed from the dmr yesterday ... They are on the nats list with a time of 9:58 ... the results from penn state website said that they were dqed.

what are the chances that out 16 runners, only one runs the 14:55 qualifying time in the 5k. As someone who could\'ve been 4th or 5th in that race, that just pisses me off. People need to stop lying about their seed times for real.

Ship women's DMR is at the top of the list for DII again. I'm sure no one is surprised though. I'm calling a repeat win from last year.
It looks like Lock Haven and Ship will have a good battle for the team title. Any predictions?

im from IUP and im saying ship has the victory of the dmr. spence usaully peaks them good and they have so much depth which might mean fresher legs for the dmr as less guys have to double come psac's.

The teams that were DQ at psu were because of the exchanges from the 1200 legs to the 400 runners.
anyone talking down on the esu dmr should prob get ready to eat their words because we can take any psac dmr team head to head
so we're about a month out from psac indoors. based on the performances so far this is what i got happening.
dmr: should be a good battle between ship and lock, i'd say ship is deeper and at the conference meet they'll take the win.
4x8: The rock has 3 guys in at 1:56 or better, they'll be hard to beat. haven has a nice winning streak going and i doubt they want to give that up. don't count out ship or esu either, they look like they'll each have strong teams.
5k: does reagan still have what it takes? from what i hear he's not to focused on running anymore. with his talent though it's hard to count him out. it looks like it could be anyones to win with no real contender up front.
3k: again no clear favorite stands out, should be a good match up to see who comes back after the 5k and mile.
mile: the top 7 as of now is all ship and lock. should be an interesting race. i'm putting my money on a sprint to the finish between hilton and buck with neyhart and pomerantz not to far behind.
800: rector seems to come in near the top year after year, yet hasn't won. should be another close one. look for the 3 rock guys near the front with garcia and maybe buck in the mix to shake things up.
