Sorry about the mishap with the Ship team, until now, I've never seen the results of the race at Mansfield.
Looks like it could be a good race between the top 3 teams, I wouldn't be surprised if they were within 10 points of each other. Beegle makes the Ship team a whole different animal, and I think that they may take the cake against Lock Haven, with Tim Getz's absence being one of the big factors.
I still think Edinboro will win though, even without McLaughlin
why does josh neyheart suck so bad this year? I bet ship gets third like always.

What happened to Regean...thought he was going out west to run he has a year left of something I am certain. Rumor has it that he is living as a homeless person not sure if that is true...some good psac battles this weekend at Penn State National: Rock, IUP, ESU, and Haven on the mens side while its Shipp, Haven, IUP, Rock, and ESU on the womens side. surprised the shipp men arent going to meet also. Either way it is a stacked meet, especially on the womens side!!!
From what I recall in the past, Ship has done well at Penn State, but a few weeks later just held on. In other words, a few years in a row I remembered (and I could be remembering incorrectly, here) that they ran outstanding in DI competition, but almost peaked too early.
After that, they stopped going for a while. Maybe it's more of a mental thing now to not take athletes there even if the training has changed?

Penn State canceled the National Invitational yesterday due to snow on the course.. thoughts?
Kudos to Lock Haven and Coach Russell for taking the helm and salvaging a race out of that disaster, that was awesome. Saved a lot of teams from having to go 4 weeks between their last race and conference and that was clutch.
Also, kudos to Neely Spence for taking it to the field at LHU and kudos to Nick Hilton for throwing down and running an awesome race
So results from Lafayette. Bloom beat out Kutztown Men by about 50 or so points. You think either of them could edge out ESU for #5 in PSACs? By the way, Kutz looks to have improved quite a bit from last season.
I don't know about anyone else, but the term, 'throwing down' seems really stupid to me when referring to a race.
First, Let's not trash talk about anyone in particular. Injuries, illness and whatever else can pop up in life can make or break a guy's season. That is heart-break I have lived. Every healthy runner is always on the verge of a potential disaster, when you least expect it. Take it from an ex-psac runner that had some fine races. I never thought I'd be the one sitting on the side-lines watching you.. As for my predictions, no one cares. But to the healthy runners that have never suffered the disappointment of serious injury or illness, sadly your time will come. AS for you trash -talkers, most likely you will never quite have your day! Good luck to all the teams and may the best man be on the team I'm cheering on!

In a couple of years, this won't be an exaggeration. Zins knows how to coach and Ralph White knows how to recruit as well as anyone, despite his imperfections in other areas. Plus Edinboro lays an egg on their home course
IUP made a lot of progress in track last year and will be a major player come indoors. So I guess it makes sense that they will get better it XC with the new staff. I still think Edinboro, Ship, and LH will dominate the next few years.
My predictions is that Edinboro will win easily on Sat and the battle for second will be tight.
