Saturday. A nice relaxed 92min run over the McIvor Range trails then up past the cemetery and around Pink Cliffs and home. Mostly tough hilly trails. Probably only about 85mins of running time, redirected 2 lost hikers up the top of the range. Also stopped and did my civic duty and had a chat to some tourists at Pink Cliffs. I hope Lou DeCastella appreciates my efforts to direct tourists to his cellar door.
Today was a short sharp hit out on the bike. Climbed up the steeper part of MtIda x2 at a good tempo -47mins total.Wallaby city this morning. Saw 6 each climb. Also the feral goat herd that roam the rocky ridges.
A very busy weekend. A 60th b'day bbq yesterday afternnon. Presentation night in Bendigo last night. Fathers Day today here in Aus so we went down to my Dad's in Melbourne and also dropped into visit the g'daughters.
TPCB, are they also called Ibex? I remember seeing one such creature when I hiked across the alps. I'm not sure exactly where it was, I think near the Simplon.
I'm glad you are keeping a lookout for the flora and fauna these days.
Driske, watch that evil dark world of tri's. I believe they've sucked many mature age runners into their world. Our fastest clubman lives in their evil domain. He talks of 25hr training weeks and such. He also has been known to run sub 3hr marathons during his ironman ventures, I fear we have no chance of bringing him back to his senses.
