Shizzy needs to stay off this board, his comments just show how ignorant he really is...i mean when it boils down to Ship is one of the best teams on paper for track along with Rock...Does that mean they are going to dominate, no, there is always a few of the "lesser" schools who creep up and make a statement...i would say that really the only school that has struggled on the track in recent years is Bloomsburg, only gaining a couple of points, but that is most likely going to change since they have a new track coach

I am sorry, but look at the last 4 years of the 3 conference championships, (xc indoor outdoor) It's basically been 4 teams. SRU, LHU, edinboro (xc only) and Ship. How can people sit here and argue for Mansfield? I mean they had 3 very strong distance runners last, year but beyond that.........? It just how the game goes, some teams can get a STRONG group of athletes and some teams can get a couple.

And as long as everyone is respectful to their fellow runners, I don't think their needs to be a love fest with everyone in the conference. Say what you may, that's just how I feel.

Wasn't Pat Reagan supposed to run at the Half Marathon champs today in Houston? I didn't see his name in the results.

I love when Hoovis name drops the star runners in his posts...it makes me think he really knows a lot about running.

Jesus! It is amazing Spence hasn't kicked your ass from one end of the track to the other for your antics. If you just had a little humility and a little experience you would almost be tolerable.

The bottom line is the bottom line. Ship LHU and SRU are tops of the conference for three reasons.

1) they are popular schools that attract a lot of kids in good locations

2) they have good competent coaches

3) They have more money for scholarship than most everybody else except the Scotts

That is it. You take out anyone of those factors and any team is right back in the middle of the conference. You lose good coaches at Ship and money or size does not matter. You lose the money at Ship and you drop to the middle. The one thing that won't change is the basic popularity of the school.

IUP because of its size is partly immune to the money/coach factor - they get more kids who have done track at that school and are not running in college then most schools have on their team. It is the ONLY reason to explain how they have done what they have.

What you should be worried about is what YOU do not anyone else does.

Shizzy is right in my opinion. There are but a few teams that dominate the psac. There will always be individuals that excel regardless of school name or money. Who cares why , really. You people need to get a life and stop the posts that attack.. Just stick to talking about something that counts. Bad mouthing usually is a sign of jealousy. I look forward to a season of great times, and races. Focus on yourselves and stop worrying about anyone else. Race on.. Oh yeah, the woman of the Psac will do more this season than most of the men.

Amazing! I like to say Missouri is God's country. It really is beautiful. Of course, my coaches, head coach Rick Mcguire and my personal coach, Brett Halter know me inside and out.
