saw the meet at Geneseo, the weather was complete shit...lane one mid as well have been a swimming race as it was flooded. Didnt see many good times come out of the day, watched the 800 Carter went out in 57 high which is not like him at all (maybe just testing different things idk) either way him and several other runners ran the race in lane 2. I had him at 1:54 along with with the announcer. It definetly was not 1:56 idk maybe they will fix that. Bomkofft ran a decent 1500 for the weather 4 flat but didnt get much going in the 800. Cold, rainy, and windy never make it easy to run good times.
I agree!!!! It was a swim meet. Weather was pure hell. Rain never stopped. My feet were like blocks of ice when I ran. Couldn't loosen up. Amazingly, the womens' 5k was very good - 6 Geneseo girls under 19 min (four under 18:40). Mary Aldridge (current women's leader for the 15) ran 18:10 - never thought I'd see that time on that particular day.
