Who had the better day, Cortland or Geneseo?
Geneseo Cortland
1500- Clark 3:56.86 Walther 4:03.04
Chambers 4:05.94 Odin 4:06.01
3k SC Brimstein 9:28.74 Amengual 9:04.83
Blazey 9:28.40
Ray 9:37.58
Iacovelli 9:40.37
5000- Novara 14:25.78 Fannon 15:03.40
Moore 15:48.48 Hotchkiss 15:27.37

Mateer 31:40.53
Wortner 31:56.60
Berube has gotten the Sunyac record in the 10k! Can Novara grab the 5k Sunyac record and an Amengual get the steeple record? 3 in one season on the distance end would be a site to see.
I think Berube has a better chance at the 5k record. 3:52 and 29:48 PRs, i'd say thats worth about 14:10.

There have been a lot of contenders in recent years, but no one has quite got it. Only time will tell...
Questions for upcoming SUNYACs???
I saw the Cortland and Geneseo laughing and socializing before, during, and after the meet. Is the rivalry no longer there? Did the Cortland runners and Geneseo runners have there own Geneva Convention during indoor SUNYACs and all become friends?
Who's running what at SUNYACs?
Who's having a breakout year?
What team looks the best going into SUNYACs?
How many kids can potentially, if not already, make nattys?

The rivalry has been gone for years...
I know this because I'm the Ambassador, I just want to get some reply's like yours, but thank you wake up
the rivalry is DEAD. both teams seem to hang out and talk at every meet. Its hard to call it a rivalry when both teams hang out and dont act like they hate each other.
the rivalry is still present
updates from the Cortland and Geneseo home meets?
I haven't seen anything yet, but not expecting much considering the typical terrible weather today in Western NY.

I think they have developed a mutual respect for each other. Nothing wrong with that.
They will go at it big-time in XC next year. Both teams will be very, very good.
cortland meet produced some really good times, the 1500 right now is some damn packed up!4:05 seems to be your ticket to sunyacs right now, the 800 at cortland was quick From what I hear the geneseo meet was awful, cold, rainy, windy and the whole first lane was a puddle, results are online but not on directathletics yet since they are trying to fix some of the times since f.a.t was in and out all day. some results... Chris carter-1:56 Kevin bronson-1:56 Ben Sweet-1:57, Patrick Wortner ran a good 5k, nothing else was that crazy with the miserable weather they had up at SUNY G
saw the meet at Geneseo, the weather was complete shit...lane one mid as well have been a swimming race as it was flooded. Didnt see many good times come out of the day, watched the 800 Carter went out in 57 high which is not like him at all (maybe just testing different things idk) either way him and several other runners ran the race in lane 2. I had him at 1:54 along with with the announcer. It definetly was not 1:56 idk maybe they will fix that. Bomkofft ran a decent 1500 for the weather 4 flat but didnt get much going in the 800. Cold, rainy, and windy never make it easy to run good times.
