today: after cleaning, cooking, and some impromptu household gymnastics with the kids (wife at work) managed to sneak out for a 2 hour run. That's the time i had. That's the time i ran. 80% pushing, 20% floating. Feel remarkably ok. Kinda like BOPE training.

Even more remarkable, Running Dogg aint running, so no descriptions from him.

I don't know what my affiliation should be anymore 'point could be'. Populist I guess. It's all about the money and has been since '72. Read "Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail".

Sort of a despairing day yesterday. At least the sun is out today...that helps, as did a couple of glasses of wine and seeing some of my running club friends I haven't been able to hook up with for 2 months or so.

i agree things are not great right now but just to keep things in persepective i can't imagine what dropping the atomic bombs and killing hundreds of thousands with the touch of a joystick did for global optimism back in 1945.

As it goes for all non-personal experience: had to be there to really know. Still...

If you were within neighborhood range i'd offer youy a couple of cold Menabreas. But we live in a virtual world. Speaking of which, how about that boy Phelps? i suppose celeb shelflife is really a fragile entity...

After seeing Springsteen at Half Time,I can only conjecture his onstage persona has lost more gleam than my marathon times.

The Bride and I covered 8 miles on skiis this aft. Casually paced. Sunny and 28F.

Gonzo, Hang tough and run .After my brother died 2 years ago ,running was the only bootstrap that held up for me.

Rest assured Gonzo that this little black duck wasn't focused on the Super Bowl. I will guess that the Super Bowl is a game of US football. I know some retired Aussie footballers have gone over to play as kickers or something.

Today was nothing more than a very slow 30 min recovery run on the trails. Legs were very heavy yesterday, probably due to the constant hot weather although today was only a chilly 37 (around 98F).

Up @ 6am, Out the door at 6:10 for 3 miles easy in 22:35, Was pleasantly surprised to find it was a little warmer than it has been recenlty (I live around Cincy area) Got Weights in an hour (8am) then a 5 later on...

today: bike commute. Full recovery after 2 hour run but giving tissues an extra day.

driske: I heard that! :) A run is always the silent, faithful partner that's always patiently waiting.

25-minutes on the recumbent this PM. We are due for more snow tomorrow.

2-hour run this morning before work, 1-hour run after work. Now, I'm stuck doing schoolwork :(
