5/8 double. Really struggles. Other commitments are leading to a large loss of sleep lately, and this has been really hurting how my legs feel...

Been busy and now I'm a week behind.

Yesterday morning (5.30am), a solid 90 min pre work run through the Argyle Forest trails from home. Nice rolling terrain, mostly fine quartz trails. Quite cool, 10 deg C. 1000's of musk lorrikeets moving through the forest on their annual visit to our town. Large mobs of roos for company throughout the run. More new mining excavations amongst the old diggings. No gold for me though. Did a 30 min spin on the windtrainer at 10pm after a long day at work.

Nothing today but will go out soon for 30min ride and run or something like that.

Truth and Reconciliation. Full second to that motion.

3 miles getting towed by our 8 year old Border Collie, Colonel.

Hi guys. This is my first post here in months. (And my last, hopefully.) Unfortunately I continue to fight an internet stalker here and at other forums. I think you all know who "Skuja" usually posts as. The "Skuja" posts have been reported to wejo. They will hopefully disappear soon, as will this one.

I ran in 4 inches of snow today. The tempreture was probably under 20 degrees. It sucked. I am from Africa mind you..

HMP, mate you have been flying so look after yourself. If things outside the running are taking a toll then don't fear backing off slightly. Make sure you stay healthy.

My '09 resolution is to run by minutes, not miles. Work the

endurance back up using the redoubtable Whitlock method.

Just starting back after a layoff. Really didn't want to run today, but had to start somewhere. 2-mile better-than-nothing run at 8:30 pace, interrupted for 10 seconds to pet a puppy.

Thur- :25 on ET w/ 4x30sec. Felt like crap. Been on elliptical all week as we have snow and ice already.

fri- likely day off as cousin has grad party.

Sorry man, the imposter aced me again. Damn, do I feel gullible. 35 years out of the college picture, but all the pimping my teammates gave me about being an easy mallard still ring true. Back to gonzo's quote, "Nothing is stranger than the truth".

mopak, a rewatch of the original Crocodile movie refreshed my memory. It was a snake, "King Brown" that was the source of Mick's gas.

today:

- bike from Monteverde to Montesacro, on the clunker fully loaded (about 45mins)

- 6k xc Corri per il verde (run for the green) last leg of four. Had to run as three counbt and i had only run two. weakish but solid, my liver (and feet) were frozen from bike ride. Nice and muddy from all the week's rain. Ran with shoes. Beautiful course. Forgot to take my time.

- bike to the track, 30mins

- "Christmas" 5k, just made it to the start in time, peeling my clothes off as I hopped off the bike. Chilly air but warm sun made barefeet possible. Forgot my vibrams anyway. Pleased with a 19:10, back of the pack. Recovered two positions on the last, progressive 800m.

Cheery season greetings and well-wishing atmosphere. Pretty tired at this point but no aches, pain or soreness of any sort.

Well I see our 'friend' has decided to come out from behind his aliases and post here again. I welcome his honest posts as well as everyone else's. This thread has always been, and will always be, about our running. We have survived troll attacks before and we will surely outlast this one too.

My own running has been uneventful of late. I'm in the process of debating whether I want to continue training at a high level, or cut back and become more of a 'weekend warrior.' Lots of soul searching.

I hope all of you have a happy and joyous holiday season. Keep up the good work, all.
