Going into this race, my world rankings system had the #1 marathoners as Kebede and Shobukhova. I'm actually a bit surprised that it's this good of a predictor.
Hartmann still holding on to 2:10 pace at 35k.
Damn Lelisa passed Wanjiru!!!
Lilesa for the WIN!!!!!!
SAMMMY!!!!
Sammy down to 3rd, then comes back! BACK IN TOUCH WITH KEBEDE!!!
I'm back. Still 3 battling. Is Kebede gonna do himself in?
It's a battle of attrition now. Sammy is the best man for such a race!

hes going into no mans land.. and its getting hot. Hope he holds it
Thankfully they're back showing the men's race.
Lilesa had passed wanjiru but now they're all back together and have caught Kebede and now Kebede and wanjiru are pushing it together.
24th mile 5:00 according to Toni
And then there were 2? Manjiru will win.
Big shock, announcers, the race WASN'T over then. How about that? When they do the split screen showing men and women, why do they waste so much space with that purple background? Surely, they can show larger simultaneous videos...

Announcers think with 10+ minutes left and three guys within a few meters from each other, the race is over???
Kebede flips out and surges when he sees Wanjiru is back! Yee-haw!!!!
Desi Davila on track for a 1 min PR.
Tv screen said 24th was 4:47
Nearly had a heart attack when the announcer said "WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK"
Thought I'd have to put up with another crappy human interest story with 2 miles left!
Wanjiru is gonna take it. I'm calling it now
Gap?
