Still technically haven't "beat" it. It's a work in progress. Through getting behind the reasons why I do it, it's gotten a lot better. It is a lot about balance in all aspects of your life- with exercise, eating, social life, other hobbies. And really learning to listen to your body. Also, eat with other people. Do NOT isolate yourself-- fall in to really bad habits that way. And don't buy foods that you know you'll binge on. You can also try logging your food intake for a bit- just how much protein, grains, fat, fruits, veggies you eat. Helps achieve a more balanced diet. If you have a good therapist and nutritionist they'll have great ideas for you, and help you get to the root of why you're doing this. I have been able to get back to running well and resume a pretty normal life, and I know you can, too. Good luck.
