Rodney Stoker does a great job developing runners at Bryan. They should be interesting to watch.

Wayland baptist also loses their #1 and national champion Kithuka. He has transferred to Texas Tech.
Their coach could be leaving too. He is finalist for position at concordia, oregon.
The concordia job is going to make things intersting if wayland or shawnee coach get. How much training was missed. how do the teams they elave react?
Concorida should announce today. Looks like either Brian Witlock of Wayland or the Shawnee state head coach. Distance coach either way. Has been a well rounded program, will be interesting to see what direction they go with the new coach and how Mac Wilkins and the rest of the program fits that model. The bigger interest is how Wayland or Shawnee boucns back from loosing a coach 1-2 weeks before school starts. Both were nationals level teams for NAIA this year. Last minute changes are just crazy this year!
Concordia announced hiring an assistant coach out of western oregon.
Someone is going to have to explain this to me, especially considering that the Wayland Baptist coach and Shawnee State coach were candidates.
Not pay enough for them?
Don't know anything about this guy. Hopefully he will do well.
Most of the All-Americans wouldn't be able to make any of the top NCAA DI teams. Probably not even Adams or Western States' teams.
And neither could you, you F*ck!
Burn in hell Trollist!
Southern Oregon transfer Kevin Jorgenson - 3:50.06 1500pr
and Eric Avila 3:48.46 1500 and 14:33 5k.
I don't think that the NAIA will ever combine with the NCAA unless there a huge drop off in numbers. To bring schools back the NAIA probably should go back to regionals instead of the current conference format which excludes some top 15 teams to the benefit of the bottom 2-3 conferences. Also, bringing in more corporate sponsors and covering expenses associated with traveling to nationals would really help bring back schools. The costs associated with sending a team to nationals is very high and probably the main reasons for the defections to the NCAA. And to the guy that said the NAIA all-Americans wouldn't even make Adams State's or Western State's teams, you are dead wrong. By the way, go to the website of the National Christian College Athletic Association website and check out THEIR xc results. They are way worse than the NAIA!!!

Men's
Did you see the Aquinas College Mens' resuts at the Notre Dame invitational ?
A Top 5 ranking must be coming !
Was Southern Oregon running their full team at Willamette this w/e? Was surprised to see them so far down...
Southern Oregon split there team half and half. Sending there top boys to Stanford and there back #8-14guys to Willamette. It looks like they sat there #2/9:05 steepler guy along with there 5th man from last year. There really deep, and haven't showed there full squad yet.
Stoker is no longer the head coach at Bryan, took over the assistant position at UT earlier in the year. Great coach and guy, should really be an asset there.
